2041 is an artistic project by Lewis Chaplin in collaboration with Ben Weaver. Over the course of a year, Lewis initiated a collaborative book-making project with 2041, an anonymous 83-year old British man with a fetish for being fully immersed in materials, clothes, and religious dress. The book is the result of access to 2041’s hard drive of 60,000 self-portraits, taken over the course of decades to enact and document his obsession.
