Oliver Griffin is an artist working with the tensions between photography and the typological. Griffin produces archives of the every day to be examined and referenced, attempting to subvert perceptions of our ordinary surroundings. Part 5D. of his expansive project Evaluation of Space takes the form of an essay in pictures and words about the humble fence panel.
We worked with Oliver to create facsimiles of his original handprints where he had written directly onto the prints, and present them in a hand-made side-stapled cardboard container.
