In an unprecedented collaboration with one of America's largest construction companies, Kyrgyz-American artist Aleksey Kondratyev was granted full access to enormous construction sites across the country, from airports to highways and skyscrapers. Kondrateyev's images focus on the individual worker in an empathetic portrait of skill, trust and collaboration, where each individual plays a part in realising projects of dizzying scale. Working with the artist, Loose Joints Studio edited through thousands of images to create a bold, chunky and utilitarian book celebrating the individual worker.
